Las Canas is a curated & exclusive beachfront retreat. This means that our costs vary greatly from group to group depending on the services, staff and food required. We do not have a single rate. If you’re interested in learning more CLICK HERE to reach out with specifics on your group!
If you’d like to have breakfast, lunch and dinner included with your villa rental we offer a meal plan ranging between $35-$50/person based on your food selections. Alternately, we can arrange meals a la carte for days your group will be away.
No. When you rent the retreat with a group of twenty or larger, the entire property is only exclusive for your use including all facilities at the retreat. Your privacy will be uncompromised as Las Canas is nestled on 2-acre beachfront setting with beachy gardens within a gated area.
If your reservation is less than 20 people, we offer the option to have exclusive access or to reserve individual rooms and share the retreat with other guests
Las Canas has a full-time staff that is included in the rental price. The staff includes a dedicated chef (see FAQ about food & meal plans above), retreat manager, housekeepers, maintenance, gardener and 24 hour security.
Las Canas has 24 bedrooms all with ensuite bath, air-conditioning and living area. The property consists of 12 beachfront bedrooms, and 12 poolside rooms.
Your private stay in Las Canas will include a jacuzzi, pool and volleyball set. In addition, the cabana has a billiards table and private bar for your enjoyment.
We also offer exclusive surfing and paddle boarding along our secluded beachfront.

Our retreat is 30 min from the Puerto Plata (POP) International Airport and 80 minutes from the Santiago airport (STI), which offers more flights from the States.
Please contact guests services. We are happy to arrange 2-way airport transfer from Puerto Plata airport (POP) or any other airport in the Dominican Republic. The cost depends on the number of guests and at which airport you arrive.
Yes, we have a 3-night minimum stay. During peak holiday periods, such as Christmas, New Year, Thanksgiving, the minimum rental period is 7 nights.
We offer a full refund for cancellations within 24 hours of booking
Additionally, we offer two refund policies.
You can choose between a 50% refund if cancelling 60+ days out or you can reschedule and keep the deposit as a credit for your new dates
Our check in time is typically 3 pm and check out time 12 noon. If the property has not been occupied with by other guests on your arrival day, an early check may be available.
Similarly, if the property is not expecting guests on the day of your departure and your flight isn’t until early evening, arrangements can be made for a later check-out at no extra charge.
Yes, if there is sufficient space available. Our resort can accommodate up to 55 adults and children
Yes, we offer courtesy holds of 72 hours with no financial obligations.
Paying for your villa rental fee can be done through either a bank transfer, check, credit card or PayPal.
While payment via credit card may be more convenient additional charges of up to 10% apply.

Cabarete, a beach town on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, is one of the top destinations in the world for kitesurfing. It also offers a world of beachfront activities, boasts lots of bars, restaurants and nightlife.
Cabarete is ~15 minutes away. We would be happy to arrange transportation to and from Cabarete on your behalf.

Smoking is prohibited in any indoor areas at the villa. However, there are many outdoor areas at the villa where guests are allowed to smoke.
Las Canas is located in one of the safest areas in the Caribbean. You should feel completely comfortable traveling outside of the villa. We have been accommodating guests since 2005 from all the over world and never had any issues with security.
Our villa has high speed starlink internet (50 – 100 mbps) throughout the property. We can also offer TV’s with cable on request, some have IP based streaming service with American and European channels.
