The location is perfect, we loved that we could take nice beach walks, lounge in the various options and swim in the pool or the ocean.

The staff are very nice and accommodating and the service was excellent.

We can also really recommend the food, as the chefs will prepare anything you could wish for. Everything we ate was so fresh and delicious.

We were altogether more than pleased with our time here and we‘ll definitely come back.

EXCELLENT HOTEL- RETREAT & HOSPITALITY!!

My boyfriend came across this GEM of a hotel but (really a retreat). This is a place to unwind, mentally and relax from the daily hustle and bustle. What it’s great for: mentally escaping, writing a book, getting in touch with yourself and nature, getting large projects done, large groups for an intimate family and friends moment, and weddings.

What is NOT FOR: finding a social ambiance, meeting new people, watching T.V, beaching.

The hospitality here is outstanding ALEX who is the property manager is the most attentive personnel one could ask for while staying at this chic boutique retreat. The food is perfect, for not having to go out! —- it’s a stay out and enjoy kind of place. I highly recommend to experience the quiet nature and ambiance this place has to offer.

The location is sublime, with a pool, spa, and the ocean directly in front of the rooms. It's wonderful to wake up to the sound of waves and to be able to do yoga on the platform overlooking the ocean.

If you want to spend time making memories in the most beautiful tropical location, this is perfect. If you want fancy and luxury, this is not it. Our family of 30 met up here from all over the US. We spent our days:

• swimming in the pool
• Talking in the hot tub
• playing on the very private beach
• Surfing
• Coconut harvesting
• Playing pool and ping pong
• Family basketball tournaments
• Tennis matches
• Brought in a masseuse
• Went for a whale watching tour
• Gathered for meals in the cabana

Not every room is newly remodeled, but it is clean and comfortable. There is no tv in the rooms, but we parents were all very happy to disconnect from the digital world and focus on our kids. We only slept in our rooms, and spent all our time on site and outside. Our kids were never bored and they had the freedom and security to roam around by themselves.

This place is the perfect size. You can retreat to your room for some private/quiet time or hang out in one of the many common areas. It is like going to someone's private home that houses 12 apartments (without kitchens). We were served 3 Dominican style meals a day. We found it to be plentiful and many of us went back for seconds.

The real star of this hotel is it's location. Palm trees, ocean, beach, gardens... It is very tropical and there are no neighbors, very private. The villa at the edge of the property is very nice. I was only in it for a short while, but it is newly renovated and was perfect for my in-laws. Luis Daniel, the property manager was able to help us with whatever we needed. It was amazing what he could arrange if we ASKED.

I would recommend this place to all my friends who are not high maintenance. It is not staffed to wait on people hand and foot. We made ourselves at home. And the experience was more than worth it!!! We will make this trip every year and the Beachcomber will be where we make our memories!!

My week long stay at Canas Beach Retreat was absolutely wonderful, and I honestly wished we could have extended it for another week! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by this hidden gem.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, providing a true restful place after a day of going to different places. Waking up to the beautiful views of the sea was a daily delight, and the strong, refreshing breeze that swept through the property was super refreshingand kept the mosquitoesaway.

Each morning, we looked forward to the delicious and generously portioned breakfast, which was included with our stay. It was more than enough to fill us up and prepare us for the day.

What truly sets Canas Beach Retreat apart, however, is its exceptional staff. Every single member of the team was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They genuinely went out of their way to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. They helped us arrange taxis, car rental and after knowing what we liked pointed us to the right places and things to do. A special shout out must go to Yasper, one of the managers. Yasper is a true superstar who consistently goes above and beyond to assist guests with anything they need. His willingness to guide us and cater to all our specific needs made our trip seamless and truly memorable.

If you're looking for a serene, beautiful, away from all the noise and turisty stuff with outstanding service, look no further than Canas Beach Retreat. We cannot recommend it highly enough and are already planning of our return!

I highly recommend staying at Las Canas Beach Reatreat. We spent a wonderful time there with friends in a villa beautifully located by the sea. The beach is natural and non-commercial. Walking for 2 hours we met only one person. Management very helpful, even when I needed help with my car, I received full support and the problem was solved within a few dozen minutes (Thank you Mr. Y.). I must also add that I felt from the very beginning as if I had come to my good friends.

We just got back from our trip to Beachcomber. Eighteen of us spent 7 days there, over New Years. It was a perfect place for a group like ours. We had 11 kids and 7 adults. The kids were busy all day playing on the beach,(which is right there), swimming in the pool, and just playing in the big open green space on their property. The adults were able to relax and enjoy each other's company.

Renata, Jack, and Titi took great care of us. They helped us with anything we needed. Even helped us book some fun excursions. If you are looking for fancy hotel, this is not the place. If you are looking for a beautiful and relaxing place to be able to enjoy each other's company and make memories, then this is the place for you.
